CPS and OneScreen teamed up to bring a dream to life for the students at Most Pure Heart of Mary (MPHM) School in Topeka, Kansas!

The Background

However, the previous Promethean boards seemed to be mostly serving the needs of the primary levels leaving upper levels with insufficient classroom tools.

The Solution

As MPHM considered a solution, Rachel, the school’s Technology Coordinator, sought out CPS. Having purchased other items from Catholic Purchasing Services including Chromebooks, charging carts, projectors, classroom supplies and office supplies to name a few. She knew what CPS had to offer.

Having already experienced our excellent customer service and unbeatable deals, she took it upon herself to browse our technology selection. She received an email from CPS announcing a sale and researched the items via YouTube training videos. She liked what she saw and appreciated how they were stand-alone, meaning that her staff didn’t necessarily need proprietary software or license to use. MPHM had “antiquated Promethean boards” and the age boards were beginning to work intermittently. Not even a software update was able to be done.

Our team at CPS was ready to help! The school needed cost effective solutions that would be able to be implemented quickly and required little to no training as schools are already overwhelmed with many other matters to attend to.

Your purchase journey started with 2 OneScreen Touchscreen Smart Screens (TL6-75). Afterwards you organized a fundraising event, allowing your institution to purchase 16 more (TL7-75)! What did your fundraising messaging consist of? What do you think inspired contributors?

“For the fundraising event we created a small video showing the students & teacher walking through a short lesson using them. It was enough of an explanation for stakeholders to see the value.”
