Ron Burton Training Village Renovation
RBTV is a sports and education facility that was founded in honor of the late Ron Burton, a former NFL player and philanthropist who dedicated his life to helping disadvantaged youth. The facility provides programs and resources for children from low-income communities, with a focus on character development, education, and physical fitness.
CPS is a supporter of RBTV, providing furniture and other essential items for the facility. This includes desks, chairs, tables, and other equipment that are used by the students and staff at the facility.
The partnership between CPS and RBTV is a natural fit, as both organizations are committed to serving the needs of the community. CPS’s mission to support Catholic institutions aligns with RBTV’s goal of providing opportunities and resources to underserved youth, and the furnishings provided by CPS help to create a welcoming and functional space for the students and staff at the facility.
The impact of CPS’s support can be seen in the success of RBTV. The facility has served thousands of children over the years, providing them with the tools and resources they need to succeed in life. STEM CLASSROOM
As part of their commitment to this goal, RBTV recently fully renovated one of their STEM classrooms, partnering with Smith, a leading provider of innovative classroom furniture solutions.
The renovation included a complete overhaul of the classroom’s furniture, with the goal of creating a modern and functional space for students to learn and collaborate. The centerpiece of the renovation was the Cascade Teacher Desk, a versatile and durable desk designed specifically for teachers. The desk features a steel frame, adjustable height, and ample storage space, providing teachers with the tools they need to effectively manage their classroom.
In addition to the Cascade Teacher Desk, RBTV also installed several Interchange Diamond Desks, which are designed for flexible classroom configurations. The desks can be easily moved and reconfigured to accommodate different learning activities and group sizes, allowing students to work collaboratively and individually as needed.
To complement the desks, RBTV also installed Flowform Stools and a Flowform Trapezoid Table. The Flowform Stools feature a unique ergonomic design that encourages movement and active learning, while the Flowform Trapezoid Table is a versatile table that can be used for a variety of learning activities, including group work and individual study.
RBTV also installed a 36″ Small Conference Table, which is perfect for small group discussions and collaborative projects. The table is designed to be both functional and aesthetically pleasing, with a sleek and modern design that complements the other furniture in the classroom.
Ghent is also a highlight supplier in this project, as they provided the whiteboards for the lab. National Public Seating also played a part by providing the Duet Charging Carts for laptops and iPads.
ENTRY FOYER
Renovating an entry foyer can be a challenging task, but with the right furniture, it can be transformed into a welcoming and functional space. Recently, a company decided to renovate their entry foyer using furniture from KI, a leading provider of innovative furniture solutions.
The renovation featured several key pieces from KI’s furniture line, including Pirouette Tables, Strive Café Stools, Sway Lounge Chair, Ricochet Stools, and MyPlace Ottoman. These pieces were carefully selected to create a modern and inviting space that would be both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

The Strive Café Stools were a natural choice for the renovation, providing comfortable seating for guests and employees alike. They feature a sleek and modern design that complements the other furniture in the space, while also providing a comfortable place to sit and relax.
The Sway Lounge Chair was also included in the renovation, providing a comfortable and stylish seating option for guests who want to relax and unwind. Its unique design allows it to move and adjust to the user’s movements, creating a comfortable and personalized seating experience.
Ricochet Stools were also used in the renovation, providing additional seating options that can be easily moved and reconfigured as needed. Their unique design allows them to be stacked and nested when not in use, making them a practical and space-saving choice for the entry foyer.
Finally, the MyPlace Ottoman was included in the renovation, providing a versatile and comfortable seating option that can be used as a footrest or additional seating when needed.
HALA FITNESS CENTER
The custom logo mats were designed to reflect RBTF’s branding and commitment to excellence. They were specifically tailored to the needs of the facility, with high-quality materials and advanced printing techniques used to create a durable and visually striking product. The mats were strategically placed throughout the facility, including at the entrances and in high-traffic areas. This not only added a professional and polished look to the facility, but also helped to protect the floors from dirt and wear. The custom logo mats also had a functional purpose beyond aesthetics. They helped to prevent slips and falls, which is especially important in areas where young athletes are training and competing. The mats provided a secure footing for the athletes, reducing the risk of injuries and ensuring that they can perform at their best.
