ACE Hardware Update
At the close of 2023, CPS decided to discontinue our partnership with Ace Hardware. Since Ace franchisees can choose not to join the National Account Program (there’s no mandate from Ace corporate) the CPS agreement caused more confusion than savings. Feedback from CPS customers indicated that most stores were unaware of an Ace-CPS affiliation and, instead, were able to offer similar, if not better, local discounting than our national program. Unable to work through the issues, we felt it was better to disengage. We still encourage customers to visit their neighborhood Ace store to enjoy local service and savings.
